This is a living photo story about dedication and self-organization, about strength of mind and kindness, about unshakable faith and daily miracle of every citizen from the volunteer center "Palyanytsia". Photos help to see "with your own eyes" the life of the city, which is located in the rear of the front *.​​​​​​​
“Palyanycia” is the largest volunteer centre in Zaporizhzhya. In addition to the main headquarters, the centre has offices in every district of the city. Every day around 600 volunteers work hard to bring victory closer.
What did “Palyanycia”  do during the first month of the war?
– evacuated 1,500 civilians to safe places from combat areas in collaboration with the Red Cross.
– distributed 183 tons of humanitarian aid (food and medicines).
– distributed 15,000 portions of food.
– raised money and bought the military equipment: 30 thermal imagers for a total of $ 50,000, 5 drones, including one with a thermal imager, for a total of 30,000 euros, 50 binoculars, and 12 reconnaissance drones.
– weaved 8 hectares of camouflage net.
– bought 7 cars, 3 minibuses, an ATV and a motorcycle for the army. We also repaired 4 military ambulances and 4 “Ural” lorries.
– made more than 3,000 large Checz hedgehogs and even more small ones.
– made 50 fortifications to protect Zaporizhzhya and the region.

Groceries (vegetables, sugar, flour, cereals, canned goods, canned food, baby food, tea), protective clothing, thermal underwear.
Berets for military and warriors TPO (42-46), batteries, flashlights, poverbanks, thermal imagers, binoculars, high-density fabric and Velcro, threads.

* Zaporizhzhya has received more than 100,000 Mariupol refugees in the last four weeks. Currently, half of the Zaporizhzhya region remains temporarily occupied.
